New Fly, Cruise and Stay Package to Tahiti and Hawaii in April 2015
Cruise Express is offering a new cruise holiday in the Pacific featuring some of the world’s most beautiful islands, including one in Hawaii that has featured in more than 70 Hollywood movies and TV shows.
The tropical island sojourn begins in Sydney on April 3, 2015, with an 18-night voyage aboard the luxurious superliner, Celebrity Solstice, to the Bay of Islands and Auckland in New Zealand and on to Tahiti where passengers will visit Bora Bora – regularly voted as the world’s most beautiful island – and also the idyllic isle of Moorea. Celebrity Solstice will then set sail for the Hawaiian isle of Maui, known as the ‘valley isle’ because of its unique volcanic topography, before guests disembark in Honolulu for a two night stay at Waikiki.
During their time in the Hawaiian capital, Cruise Express guests will take part in a traditional welcome dinner, complete with hula dancers and acrobats, and take a half-day tour to Pearl Harbour including the Arizona memorial and a tour of the historic battleship, Missouri, which was the venue for Japan’s official surrender in World War II in 1945.
Guests can then fly home, ending their 21-day vacation or spend another three nights on the lush Hawaiian island of Kauai, famous for the spectacular cliffs on the Na Pali coast which have appeared in many films such as South Pacific, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, King Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean and the 2011 George Clooney film, The Descendants. While staying at the Sheraton Kauai resort, guests will spend a full day exploring the breathtaking 1km deep Waimea Canyon – described as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.
The 21-day package, including the cruise from Sydney, two nights in Honolulu, the Pearl Harbour tour and a flight back to Sydney is available from $6290 per person, twin-share, in a balcony cabin while the full 24-day package, adding in three nights with touring on Kauai and domestic flights in Hawaii, is available from $7489 per person, twin-share. Flights from Australian centres to Sydney before the cruise and home from Sydney at the end of the holiday are extra.
