Travel Counsellors has launched a host of new marketing and training tools to coincide with National Cruise Week and our own ‘Cruise Focus Month’, including its first ever dedicated cruise brochure.
The 20 page cruise brochure features exclusive offers from over 20 cruise lines and is available in both print and digital format. In addition, the company has also produced daily training webcasts, consumer product videos, plus a range of cruise e-cards and hot offers. The consumer product videos are designed to give customers an insight into the extensive range of cruising options available to book through Travel Counsellors.
Tracy Parkinson, Country Manager at Travel Counsellors comments: “As demand for cruising holidays continues to grow we’ve embraced National Cruise Week as the ideal opportunity to provide our agents with the tools they need to set themselves apart from the competition and get those cruise bookings in. Our new cruise brochure was produced in-house by our marketing team and will be mailed out to over 20,000 customers across Australia. Our commercial team has been working closely with the top cruise operators to include all the latest product information and hot offers to ensure our agents stay ahead in the market and are able to meet the changing needs of their customers.”
The company has worked in partnership with a number of cruise companies in conjunction with the new marketing materials including Royal Caribbean, Azamara Club & Celebrity Cruises, P&O, Seven Oceans, Carnival, Princess Cruises, Fairy Chimneys, Blue Lagoon, MSC, Holland America, Seabourne, Avalon, Viking, Scenic and APT.
Cameron Mannix, District Sales Manager VIC/TAS of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines comments: “We are delighted to work with Travel Counsellors around National Cruise Week. We aim to support their agents to ensure they have all the material they need to confidently sell our products. We’re very excited about recording the webcast.”
Travel Counsellors Commercial Team Leader, Jonathan Garrett comments: “It’s been a fantastic year for cruise bookings with sales at an all-time high – up 54% on last year. We hope to build on this success and capitalize on this popular and profitable market throughout September. So far we’ve received a very positive response from our agents off the back of our cruise brochure, so aim to roll out a new edition three times a year.”
