VIRTUOSO has announced its 2026 Cruise Icons, recognising the top-performing cruise advisors across its global network.
This year saw 178 travel advisors worldwide earn the designation, including 37 from Australia (CLICK HERE), highlighting the strength of the Aussie market within the luxury cruise sector.
Icons gain access to quarterly collaboration sessions designed to foster growth and networking, as well as a dedicated celebration during Virtuoso Travel Week.
Many of the network’s cruise partners also offer exclusive amenities to Cruise Icons.
They will also participate in two AmaWaterways charter sailings along Colombia’s Magdalena River (pictured), designed to explore emerging destinations.
The two sailings will depart 23 and 26 Sep, and will both follow the same itinerary, reconvening in the town of Pinto for an offsite networking session.
This will bring together like-minded advisors for strategic dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, strengthening their collective expertise and positioning them at the forefront of new opportunities.
“Cruise Icons are the advisors the industry looks to when there are market shifts or demand accelerates,” senior vice president global partnerships Cory Hagopian said.
“They set the standard for how clients engage with luxury cruising across every category, how preferred partners position their products and how the sector continues to evolve.
“This group represents leadership in action, not just results on paper.” MS
