PORT Canaveral commenced work on a US$21m Welcome Centre last week, the first phase in a revitalisation program for Canaveral Cove. Scheduled for completion in Jul 2013, the 22,000-sq/ft Welcome Centre will stand sevenstories, and will boast an observation deck, auditorium, gift shop, cafe and exhibits.
