Brisbane terminal deal questioned

TWO submissions to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) have voiced concerns over the proposed priority berthing deal between Carnival plc and the Port of Brisbane (PBPL). The deal would see Carnival and PBPL enter into a "take or pay" agreement, whereby Carnival would receive 100 berthing days at the planned Brisbane cruise facility to help underwrite its development (CW 02 Nov).
