Crystal turns from loss into profit

After two years of losses, NYK Lines has reported an $11m quarterly profit for its cruise division. Cruise operations of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Lines) returned to profitability for the second quarter of its financial year on a broadbased recovery, the Japanese company has stated on its website. The group’s cruise division includes Crystal Cruises, based in Los Angeles, and Tokyo’s Asuka Cruises, which operates the 800-berth Asuka II.
