Silver Galapagos sets sail

Silversea has formally christened and commenced operation of its newly refurbished expedition ship Silver Galapagos, with the first voyage setting sail late last month. The 100-guest vessel was formerly known as the Galapagos Explorer III, with refurbishment works carried out on the ship including a refit of all public spaces. Guest suites have been fully redesigned with new upholstery, carpets and curtains along with fully renovated bathrooms, which now offer walk-in rainforest showers and fittings.
