Carnival New Zealand has
expanded its sales team to focus
on specific brands, appointing
a new business development
manager for the market.
Former Emirates sales executive
Andy Bruce takes up the new
role for P&O Cruises and Cunard,
while Melissa Bannister will
become bdm for Princess Cruises.
The changes follow the model
adopted by Carnival Australia last
year (CW 14 Feb).
Carnival New Zealand sales
manager Belinda Clark said
the growth of the local market
necessitated the expansion.
“Whilst our operation provides
sales support, marketing and
representation for all the cruise
lines we represent in New
Zealand – P&O Cruises, Princess
Cruises, Cunard and P&O
Cruises World Cruising – our two
dedicated business development
managers will be focused on their
designated cruise lines.
This will enable us to create a
greater focus for our individual
cruise brands as well as a greater
footprint and relationship with
our trade partners, who are key
to the success of our business.
“With one of the busiest cruise
seasons already in full swing, the
expansion of the team comes at
a perfect time for Carnival New
Zealand,” Clark added.
