Carnival Cruise Line’s Aussie superliner Carnival Spirit has sailed from dry dock in Singapore boasting a ship load of exciting new features as it prepares for its fourth year of cruising down under.
When the ship returns to Sydney on September 14, it will offer 25 bars, lounges and dining options following the addition of seven new bars and restaurants during the multi-million dollar refit.
This summer Australian cruisers will be able to try the Boomerang burger at Californian celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s new onboard burger joint, a cocktail prescribed for cruising at Alchemy Bar, some tropical poolside concoctions at Caribbean-inspired RedFrog Rum Bar, an authentic Mexican-style beach cantina experience at the BlueIguana Cantina and Tequila Bar as well as some lively new entertainment offerings including the ship’s top deck Dive-In Movies.
Carnival Spirit will also cruise back to Australia with some of sister ship Carnival Legend’s tried and tested favourites including RedFrog Pub, Bonsai Sushi, the Cherry on Top lolly shop and Hasbro the Game Show.
Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke said the crew were excited to show off Carnival Spirit’s new features.
“We didn’t think it was possible but with these new entertainment and dining offerings, Carnival Spirit has just got a whole lot more fun. We think our guests will love all the new options onboard – we can’t wait to get back to Australia,” Ms Vandekreeke said.
Experience Carnival Spirit’s fun new features during an 11-night roundtrip sailing departing Sydney on March 27, 2016, and including ports in New Caledonia and Vanuatu, from $1050* per person twin share with up to $200 onboard credit per cabin.
