The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has just released its newest study looking into trends of the cruising industry. A number of trends have come out of the study including the 68% increase in global demand for cruising between 2004 and 2014. On a whole, cruising is becoming more and more popular.
One huge area of growth in particular is Asia, both in capacity and as a passenger source market. Viking Cruises offers a number of river cruises throughout Asia ( www.vikingrivercruises.com.au/cruise-destinations/asia/ ) including the ever popular Magnificent Mekong cruise.
