Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are celebrating all things Aussie in the lead up to Australia Day, offering reduced fares and up to $500 onboard spending money on four Round Australia sailings onboard local favourites, Radiance of the Seas and Celebrity Solstice, when booked by 31 January 2016.
“Cruising is one of the best ways to see our beautiful country and its stunning coastline. Australia is a big country but a cruise allows you to leisurely travel between ports at night and visit some of the country’s best known destinations by day. It’s one of the easiest ways to visit multiple domestic destinations and travel in comfort throughout – you only need to unpack once – plus you can let someone else take care of the cooking, cleaning and entertainment,” said Adam Armstrong, commercial director, RCL Cruises.
“Both ships spend around a month fully circumnavigating Australia, plus some ports in New Zealand, with the voyage available in two segments. If you have more time to spare then why not combine the two segments into an epic voyage around Australia?”
Bonus onboard spending amounts vary based on stateroom category, with Interior staterooms receiving US$200 per stateroom, Oceanview and Balcony staterooms receiving US$300 and Suites receiving US$500.
Radiance of the Seas’ 16-night “South Coast and New Zealand” sailing departs Sydney on 25 February 2016 and her 16-night “Top End” cruise departs Fremantle on 12 March 2016, with calls at Australian ports such as Melbourne, Adelaide, Esperance, Geraldton, Port Hedland, Darwin, Cairns and Brisbane.
Celebrity Solstice offers an 18-night “Australia & New Zealand” cruise departing Auckland on 14 February 2016 and a 17-night “Top End” voyage departing Fremantle on 3 March 2016, including calls at Aussie favourites like Hobart, Melbourne, Darwin, Cairns, the Whitsundays, Brisbane and Newcastle.
Fares start from $1,599 per person twin share for an Interior stateroom onboard Radiance of the Seas’ “Top End” Cruise. Departing Fremantle on 12 March 2016 and sailing to Sydney, the voyage includes calls at Geraldton, Port Hedland, Bali (Benoa), Darwin, Cairns and Brisbane. Celebrity Solstice fares start at $1,899 per person twin share for her 17-night Top End voyage departing 3 March 2016. Sailing from Fremantle to Sydney, the cruise includes calls Bali (Benoa), Darwin, Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane and Newcastle.
