Dream Cruises, the first-ever Asian luxury cruise line, today introduced its all-new ‘Dream Butler’ service with a special personal butler showcase at the International Luxury Travel Market Asia in Shanghai.
Guest protocol, etiquette, body language, food and beverage expertise, wine and spirits knowledge, valet and personalized guest services were among the specialised skill-sets being demonstrated to visitors, all essential prerequisites required of a ‘Dream Butler’.
On call 24 hours a day, Dream Butlers will meet the needs of the most discerning guests by packing and unpacking, perfectly pressing garments and shining shoes. They will also arrange priority spa, dining and excursion reservations. Afternoon tea, dinner or cocktails will be graciously served in guest suites, and room service can be delivered from any restaurant on board by our Dream Butlers.
The highly personalized European-style butler service will be available as part of the luxurious Dream Mansion experience onboard Genting Dream, the inaugural ship of Dream Cruises, which is currently undergoing fit-out at shipbuilders Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, before entering service from her homeport of Guangzhou (Nansha) in November 2016.
Dream Mansion, is a unique ‘ship-within-a-ship’ enclave of exclusivity and style, where 142 spacious suites offer dedicated butler services as one of its unique features, together with a bespoke array of special guest experiences.
“Dream Cruises aims to be a pacesetter in the cruise industry in the region, with the finest dining options, exceptional service, enthralling entertainment and inspirational experiences,” explained Mr. Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises.
“The Dream Butler service offers discerning Dream Mansion guests a truly luxurious Dream Cruises accommodation experience, as part of our overall aim to redefine vacation travel for our customers with a transformational journey at sea.”
