AFTER three months sitting in Dubai’s Port
Rashid, the famous Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise
liner will be converted into a floating hotel.
According to a statement issued by its
current owners Istithmar World, the completed
hotel will feature 300 rooms and is scheduled
to open in approx 18 months.
The statement indicates the current owners
plan to keep QE2 in Dubai permanently.
