Carnival Adventure will become a seasonal prospect in Australia from 2028.
Carnival Cruise Line has announced Carnival Adventure will move to sailing seasonally in Australia from April 2028, leaving the brand with just two year-round vessels based Down Under.
Adventure will relocate to the northern hemisphere following her 2027-28 Australian program, with Carnival citing more favourable market conditions elsewhere and an uncertain local regulatory environment for the move.
This will see Carnival move from one to two seasonal summer vessels: Adventure from Sydney and Carnival Luminosa from Brisbane, with Carnival Encounter and Carnival Splendor still based in Australia year-round.
“Carnival is adjusting its deployment to better capture greater opportunities elsewhere, while continuing to champion a more competitive and certain operating environment – matters we’ve long emphasised,” the company’s local country manager Peter Little said.
