OCEANIA Cruises has released design details
of special features to feature onboard Riviera
when she debuts in May.
Two noteworthy details, include the 624-
suite ship’s specially commissioned two-story
Lalique Grand Staircase and a custom-crafted
Italian chandelier dripping in 380 crystal spheres.
Heralded as a “striking focal point” by
Oceania, Riviera’s Grand Staircase has been
designed by the famous French glassware firm
to feature double-curved staircases and a
balcony with balustrades of crystal medallions
and scrolled iron.
In addition, six crystal pillars will rise from
the staircase’s landing to enhance Riviera’s
two story, glass elevator surround.
The staircase’s grandeur will be further
enhanced by an Italian made 590kg chandelier
measuring 78 inches tall by 80 inches in diameter.
