Heralding a new class of authentic and luxurious European river cruising, Amras Cruises has officially welcomed its newest ship, the 135-metre, 84-berth Amadeus Silver III into its fleet with the ship departing on her inaugural Amras sailing on 30 April 2016.
Comprising beautifully appointed and expansive public areas, 12 generous 26.4 square metre Amadeus Suites and 72 enlarged 17.5 square metre cabins, the Amadeus Silver III will be one of the most spacious river cruise vessels to sail the European waterways. Each Amadeus Suite includes its own external balcony, reading corner, lounge area and separate bath and shower, while every cabin includes a walk in wardrobe, luxurious bathrooms and panoramic floor to ceiling drop down windows. Providing enhanced connectivity for groups, the Amadeus Silver III offers cabins with connecting doors on its Haydn Deck.
The vessel’s al fresco public areas include an impressive sun deck with shaded areas, deck chairs, golf putting green, walking track and giant chess game, and the open air ‘River Terrace’ lounge – which offers protection from the elements alongside incredible views. Inside, guests will find the ‘Amadeus Club’ with its comfortable library and internet hub, an extensive fitness studio – spread over two decks, a beauty salon and massage room, alongside elegantly designed restaurants, cafes and bars. Amadeus’ signature ‘Panorama Restaurant and Bar’ perfectly pairs panoramic views with authentic European cuisine reflective of the regions visited, ‘Lido Bar’ invites passengers to sample local and international beers and wine, while ‘Café Vienne’ provides an authentic Austrian experience serving traditional coffee and ‘Sachertorte’ specialities.
