APT is launching its new Europe River Cruising Pre Release 2016 brochure in early January to help its trade partners capitalise on bookings for next season. Available in travel agents from today, the new Pre Release brochure reveals details of APT’s new Bordeaux river cruising itineraries, as well as two new European river ships for 2016, the luxury 164-passenger vessels MS AmaStella and MS AmaViola. As well as numerous river cruising itineraries, the new brochure also includes a range of popular luxury land touring in conjunction with Magnificent Europe, Rhine, Rhône and Moselle and Douro river cruises.
APT’s new Bordeaux river cruising features on three new itineraries for 2016.
For example the new 11-day Bordeaux River Cruise includes a three night luxury city stay at one of the leading hotels in Paris, with sightseeing at all the iconic landmarks and a special evening at the Moulin Rouge. From Paris guests travel to Bordeaux by high speed train for their all inclusive luxury river cruise aboard APT’s boutique 74-suite luxury rivership, the MS AmaDolce.
Akin to a floating five star hotel, onboard the ship guests will enjoy facilities including a sun deck with heated whirlpool; a massage, hair and beauty salon; complimentary Wi-Fi; luxurious suites with private en-suites and flat screen TVs featuring complimentary movies; and up to five unique dining options, including the exclusive Erlebnis Chef’s Table Restaurant.
The cruise itself visits Bordeaux, Pauillac, Blaye, Cognac, Libourne, Saint Émilion and Cadillac. Showcasing the beauty of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, cruise highlights include a private dinner at Bordeaux’s Château Pape Clément, enjoyed with perfectly paired wines from the estate’s 13th-century vineyard; and a visit to a family-owned cooperage before a wine tasting in Ludon. Freedom of Choice™ sightseeing options are on offer in three different locations, including in Libourne the choice of a visit to a caviar farm for a tasting or a walking tour of the nearby Bergerac.
The cruise can be further combined with a seven night Rhône river cruise on the 18-day Bordeaux and Rhône; or a seven night Seine river cruise on the 16-day Seine & Bordeaux River Cruise.
For a limited time, APT is offering 2016 itineraries at 2015 prices, free cabin upgrades on select departures, and a choice of exciting SuperDeals to help motivate guests to book early.

According to APT General Manager Sales and Marketing, Debra Fox, travel trade partners are once again expecting high levels of interest in the multi-award winning cruise operator’s ‘Royal Collection’ European river cruises:
