EVER wonder what goes on behind the
scenes of a cruise ship? Well Celebrity Cruises
is taking the mystery out of the equation with
the launch of its latest Celebrity Life onboard
activities program titled Celebrity Inside Access.
The program gives guests a backstage pass
into ship operations, and features two
distinctive and eye-opening tours, including a
See How It’s Done onboard excursion and a
Bridge Sail Away experience.
The intimate See How It’s Done excursion
runs for three hours and includes a guided tour
through non-public ship areas including the
bridge, engine control room, main dining galley,
preperation rooms, theatre and crew gym.
As part of the tour guests will be able to ask crew
questions, and will also enjoy a special lunch
with matched wines hosted by a vessel officer.
Meanwhile the Bridge Sail Away experience
kicks off on the bridge 30 minutes prior to
departing from port, and includes a bridge
tour and talk conducted by a Senior Bridge
Officer, and allows guests to experience the
workings of the ship’s navigational team as
they prepare and disembark from port.
The Bridge Sail Away also includes a meet
and greet opportunity with the captain, and
concludes 30 minutes after departure from port.
Both tours are available on all Celebrity ships
and can be purchased onboard.
