SCENIC Tours has released a 2012/13 cruise/
tour itinerary taking in the unique landscape
and culture of Burma.
The 12-day Myanmar Highlights and
Irrawaddy River Cruise includes a nine night
land tour and a two night luxury cruise.
Highlights include the beautiful Inle Lake and
a demonstration of its dwellers’ one-legged
rowing technique, as well as an encounter at
the Nga Hpe Monastery with its unique
‘jumping’ cats; and the chance to offer alms to
the monks at a Monastery in Mandalay.
