Azamara Club Cruises will expand the fleet in Mar 2018.
Azamara Club Cruises has entered into an agreement to purchase its third ship, which will be called Azamara Pursuit.
The move will increasing the line’s portfolio by 50% and the ship will be comparable in size to Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest.
Larry Pimentel, ceo Azamara Club Cruises, said the acquisition would allow the brand to visit even more regions of the world.
“Our loyal guests and travel partners have asked for this expansion for a long time; we are very pleased to deliver this to them,” he said.
Azamara has not revealed what ship it is acquiring, but said the vessel will undergo a renovation to update its decor to match Azamara’s upmarket position.
Further information on Pursuit’s deployment and itineraries will be released in Oct.
