The cruise line’s Disney Wonder will sail her final voyages Down Under in February.
Disney Cruise Line has confirmed speculation that this coming season will be its last in Australia, with Disney Wonder set to be redeployed elsewhere.
The cruise line will be leaving Australian shores just three years after it arrived, with a statement reported in the mainstream media this weekend confirming “we will not return for the 2026/2027 season”.
However Disney did leave the door ajar to return in future seasons, saying sailings from Australia “remain on our list for future consideration”.
Disney is the third cruise line to pull out of Australia since the pandemic, following Cunard Line earlier this year, and Virgin Voyages the season prior.
Local fans of Disney can still look forward to the arrival of the Asia-Pacific-based Disney Adventure, which will sail from Singapore beginning in December.
