enjoying a cruise boom, with figures from the
European Cruise Council showing that the
cruise industry is the only European tourism
sector that is enjoying “substantial growth”.
The ECC’s claims are backed by impressive
figures which show that last year 5.5 million
Europeans took a cruise, a figure which is up
by 10% on 2009 results, and represents 30%
of cruise passengers worldwide.
