Following the sell-out success of its 2016 luxury cruiser Horizon, Le Boat has announced the launch of three new Horizon models for 2017. Designed and built exclusively for Le Boat by Delphia Yachts, the new models are ideal for larger families and groups. Meeting the high standards in European boat travel set by the original, they are poised to further revolutionize self-drive boating on Europe’s inland waterways. The new Horizons will begin accepting bookings for the 2017 season on September 1, 2016.
According to Le Boat, the Horizon 2-S will be the same size as the original but sleep up to five guests with a smaller front cabin, making room for a second bathroom. It will be available throughout France, Holland, Ireland and Italy. The Horizon 3 will be a larger vessel with three en suite cabins, accommodating up to seven guests, and will be available in France, Germany and Ireland. The Horizon 4 will be the same size as Horizon 3 but configured to sleep up to nine people with four en suite cabins. It will be available for cruises throughout France, Germany and Holland, as well as on the River Thames in the U.K.
A New Era In Boating Vacations
Offering the largest top-deck of any boats their size, all Horizon models feature an outside seating area and a bright, spacious saloon with excellent panoramic views. They will also feature the same “fun deck” area for barbecues and sunbathing, providing plenty of space for socializing inside and out while delivering a five-star experience to every guest.
“We are thrilled with the new Horizon boats and look forward to launching these larger models so more vacationers can enjoy the unique experience of a self-drive boating vacation,” said Cheryl Brown, managing director at Le Boat. “We are continually investing in our fleet to keep it modern and in excellent condition. It was a delight to see the glowing customer responses to the introduction of Horizon this year, which sold out well in advance of the 2016 season. We expect the larger models will prove just as popular in 2017.”
As with all Le Boat vacations, no boating experience is necessary and a full orientation is given before setting off. Early booking is recommended, as the new models are expected to sell out quickly. They will also be available to own through Le Boat’s unique Ownership and Management Program.
