PONANT’S Le Commandant Charcot’s (render pictured) inaugural Arctic voyages for 2022 have been released.
Open for sale now, the North Pole will feature heavily in Le Commandant’s inaugural season.
Departing from Spitsbergen, the ship will sail for 15 nights on three departures from Jul to Aug 2022 from $40,310 per person twin share.
Another highlight will be Nordaustlandet, located in Svalbard, which can be visited on either a nine- or 11-day cruise.
The program will take in the scenery of Kongsfjorden, then the Northwest Spitsbergen National Park, the Northeast Svalbard Nature Reserve, Kvitoya, and the Hinlopen Strait renowned for its glaciers and basalt islands.
This sailing will depart twice, on 15 or 28 Jun 2022, from $17,670pp.
