SILVERSEA Cruises has announced its return to service with its new flagship Silver Moon (pictured) from Jun, with the cruise line to require all guests and crew members to be fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
Setting sail from 18 Jun, Moon will depart on 10-day Eastern Mediterranean itineraries, including calls to Santorini, Paros, Mykonos, Crete, Israel and Cyprus.
The new round-trip itineraries will be unveiled in full, and are on general sale from Thu.
Vaccinations will form part of comprehensive, multi-layered protocols, as Silversea continues to work closely with relevant governing bodies and health authorities to evolve its procedures as new health recommendations are issued and the situation advances.
The protocols include enhanced sanitation procedures, increased air filtration, high-quality onboard medical care with state-of-the-art equipment, and enhanced medical teams on each ship.
The vaccination requirement will apply to all Silversea voyages globally, with the exclusion of Australia, for which protocols are still under evaluation.
