MSC Opera will join MSC Sinfonia (which is
replacing MSC Melody for cruises from Cape
Town) for the 2012/13 South African summer.
MSC Sinfonia will arrive in Cape Town on 28
November, and will offer a series of three- and
four-night cruises calling at Portuguese Island
and Inhambane; as well as longer cruises from
Durban to Madagascar, Mauritius and La
Reunion; and number of coastal cruises
between Durban and Cape Town.
Sinfonia will also offer cruises to Mossel Bay,
Hermanus, Luderitz and Maputo; and will
feature an 11-night roundtrip cruise to Walvis
Bay and St Helena.
Meanwhile, Opera will arrive in Cape Town
on 20 November 2012, kicking-off the season
with two ocean cruises between Cape Town
and Durban.
From 26 November Opera will operate out of
Durban with a schedule of 19 three- and fournight
Mozambique cruises; as well as a six-night
roundtrip cruise on 21 Dec taking in Anakao
and Portuguese Island; and an 11-night NYE
cruise departing on 27 December 2012.
Opera will leave Durban on 17 February 2013
for Cape Town where she will host a four-night
cruise; as well as three cruises to Mossel Bay.
