CAPTAIN Michael McCarthy of the Port of Cork, Ireland, has been elected as the new chairman of industry association, Cruise Europe. McCarthy comes to the role with over 40 years worth of maritime experience, and will replace outgoing chairman, Dirk Moldenhauer.
