Following the successful establishment of Norwegian Cruise Line Holding’s (NCLH) Asia Pacific headquarters in Sydney late last year the company has announced that it will now also be transitioning its luxury brands Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises to its corporate office. The integration includes all sales and marketing functions and the establishment of a multi-lingual regional contact centre based in Sydney CBD.
“Having successfully transitioned our Norwegian Cruise Line business from Star Cruises in December 2015 we are now entering the second phase of our corporate office establishment. Staff recruitment and training is underway and the necessary technology implemented to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from our excellent long-term partners Wiltrans and The Cruise Office in Australia and Cruise Holidays in New Zealand. Until that time, it will remain ‘business as usual’, with NCLH continuing to work collaboratively with our representatives,” said Steve Odell, Managing Director NCLH Asia Pacific.
“We would like to take this opportunity to recognise the long-term partnerships we have enjoyed with our GSAs who have firmly established our luxury brands as market leaders in Australia and New Zealand. With a burgeoning demand for luxury cruising in the region we will be investing additional resources to ensure that we remain in the market leading position.”
In April 2016 Oceania Cruises will introduce the much anticipated Sirena. This will be followed by the launch of Regent Seven Seas Explorer, ‘the most luxurious ship ever built’, which is already attracting a high level of local cruise travellers and will set a new benchmark in the luxury arena.
“We are currently recruiting for luxury specialists for our sales and contact centre teams in order that the business transitions smoothly and our trade partners and guests are provided with our fullest support and expertise,” said Mr Odell.
