| P&O planning with vigour

THE United Kingdom’s P&O Cruises has announced its deployment for the remainder of this year, and is “planning for the future with vigour”, according to President Paul Ludlow.

Britannia will begin her planned Western Mediterranean itineraries on 25 Sep, and Iona will start her holidays along the United Kingdom’s Atlantic coast from the same date.

These cruises will follow the series of UK coastal cruises beginning later this month.

Ventura’s (pictured) first cruises will be her planned program of visiting of the United Kingdom’s Atlantic islands from 03 Oct.

Following the Mediterranean season, Britannia will reposition to the Caribbean for her winter program as scheduled, followed by Azura, which will begin her Caribbean cruises slightly later than published, from 10 Dec.

The length and complexity of Arcadia and Aurora’s planned long-haul cruises from Jan has forced their cancellation, and these two ships will not begin sailing until next year, with replacement itineraries to be announced shortly.

All guests 18 years old and over will be required to have completed their vaccination course a minimum of 14 days prior to sailing, for all cruises departing from 25 Sep until the end of the year.

Younger guests who are not fully vaccinated will need a negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to travel, and all guests will also require a negative coronavirus test at the terminal.
