MERMAIDS are real?
We’ve all heard tales of mermaids, ranging
from Disney’s Little Mermaid, to the history
books which tell us of ancient hardened
seafarers’ absolute belief in the existence
of aquatic humanoids.
However in this day and age most people
believe that Mermaids are a myth confined
to the annals of history.
This belief was however rocked in the US
when the Discovery Channel’s Animal
Planet network aired a program titled
Mermaids: The Body Found.
Based on science fiction and “some real
events and scientific theory”, the program
was so convincing that the American
National Ocean Service was inundated with
requests for more information about the
fictional creatures, to the point where it
was forced to issue a press release denying
the existence of mermaids.
