IN partnership with Canine Street Rescue,
Sigatoka River Safari, Fiji, has been able to
complete the second part of its mission to feed
and care for the dogs and pets in the villages
along the Sigatoka river, with final year vet
students from the US recently visiting each
village and teaching people how to care for
their animals, using the available resources.
“The program has been warmly received by
the villagers and they appreciate the
assistance being given to them,” said Sigatoka
River Safari MD, Jay Whyte.
“This initiative will have long lasting effects
for all involved,” he added.
