Royal Caribbean Cruises has announced a series of brand-new evening shore excursions for the cruise line’s first-ever overnight call to Noumea on 17 November 2018.
Quantum Class ship Ovation of the Seas arrives in Noumea at 8am on 17 November and departs at 5pm on 18 November 2018, allowing guests the rare opportunity to explore New Caledonia’s cosmopolitan capital after sunset.
The overnight stay is part of a nine-night South Pacific cruise leaving Sydney on 14 November 2018, which also visits Mystery Island in Vanuatu.
New Shore Excursions include:
- An Evening in Lemon Bay – Dinner & Show at Le Duke’s: Guests will travel 15 minutes by bus to Lemon Bay where they can enjoy dinner at retro, beachside restaurant Dukes, followed by a traditional Tahitian performance. After this, guests can spend two hours exploring the sophisticated nightlife of Lemon Bay.
- Discover the South of Noumea: Guests can embark on a seven-hour adventure to the island’s south, visiting the church of La Conception, the prison ruins of Prony, and a nature walk and picnic at revered La Madeleine waterfalls.
- All-Inclusive Sunset Cruise: Guests will board a high-speed luxury yacht and enjoy complimentary cocktails and light snacks while taking in the sights of Noumea’s breathtaking coastline at sunset.
