CUNARD has released a new wedding
ceremonies at sea program onboard Queen
Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.
Ceremonies at sea will be available for
couples travelling on the full spectrum of
Cunard’s worldwide voyages lasting seven
nights or more and departing after April 2012,
which allows guests to tie the knot in
destinations such as Mediterranean, Scandinavia,
Canada, New England, the Caribbean, Panama
Canal, Hawaii, the Far East and Australia.
Cunard’s weddings at sea packages are priced
from $2,500 including the services of an
onboard wedding coordinator, the ceremony
conducted by the Captain, wedding stationery,
floral arrangements, music, Veuve Clicquot
Champagne, the wedding cake and a
celebratory breakfast in bed for the bride and
groom; however a wedding licence fee is extra.
Weddings will only take place on sea days,
and Cunard is also restricting the program so
that only one wedding to occur on each vessel
per available sea day.
“There is nothing quite as special as the
setting of a Cunard ship,” said Cunard
President, Peter Shanks.
