Pioneers of the cruise industry in Halong Bay, The Au Co just announced its new ‘off the beaten track’ itinerary that includes an in depth discovery of Bai Tu Long Bay, situated in the far eastern part of the greater Halong Bay area.
This exclusive itinerary, to be launched from the 1st of June 2016, will cover more than 80 km on a three-day-two-night trip departing from Tuan Chau Marina.
With pristine beaches and impressive karst limestone formations, Bai Tu Long Bay offers an authentic experience, maintaining a feeling of exclusivity when compared to other more touristic sites in the bay.
During this once-in-a-lifetime experience, guests will also have opportunity to visit Vung Vieng floating fishing village, one of the last remaining floating fishing villages in Halong Bay. Guests will also get the chance to swim and kayak amongst spectacular karst formations in Hon Xep Geological Park area, some of the most dramatic scenery the bay has to offer.
“This new itinerary reflects our determination and commitment to offer a unique cruising experience to our passengers,” said Mr. Andrej Stein, Director of Operations in Halong Bay, “Although it has much more distance to cover and brings a significant surge in fuel charges, I am glad that the management decided to promote Bai Tu Long Bay area. Together with the major renovations and menu upgrade in summer 2016, we are now ready to bring our passengers a brand new lifetime experience in Halong Bay.”
