New tours in Vietnam and
Cambodia will offer luxury
hotel-style cruising.
UNIWORLD HAS UNVEILED DETAILS OF ITS FIRST
venture into south-east Asia with a new
purpose-built ship from January 2012.
The 15-day ‘Vietnam, Cambodia & the
Mekong Boutique River Cruise & Tour’ is on
sale now, with major discounts for early
bookings.
Priced from $5,499 per person, the allinclusive
holiday includes seven nights in
deluxe hotels, a seven-night Mekong river
cruise from Ho Chi Minh City to Kampong
Cham, guided shore excursions, a domestic
flight between Siem Reap and Hanoi and
arrival and departure transfers.
The fare also includes buffet breakfasts at
the hotels, all meals onboard the River
Saigon, fine wine with dinner, plus local beer,
spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee while
cruising.
“Our beautifully handcrafted flagship
vessel boasts just 30 riverview staterooms,
which means no more than 60 guests,
making ours the most intimate ship on the
river,” said John Molinaro, general manager,
Australia, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.
“Shore excursions, limited to just 20 people,
are also ideal for exploring the floating
villages, local markets and fabled temples.”
River Saigon’s maiden voyage will be 15
January 2012 with further departures
available through to 25 March, then from
September to December 2012.
Savings of up to $960 per couple are
offered when paid in full at the time of
booking before 30 September 2011.
Early Booking Savings of up to $480 per
couple also apply for bookings made and
deposited before 30 November 2011.
A free VIP package is also provided at
each land hotel.
