THE CAPITAL ISLAND OF THE TURKS AND CAICOS
Islands, Grand Turk, is set to get an
impressive new Welcome Centre for visitors.
Popular as a port of call for Caribbean
itineraries, Grand Turk is funding its
Welcome Centre with a US$3m grant from
Carnival Cruise Lines.
As part of the design the 23,000 square
feet Welcome Centre will feature a variety of
restaurants and shops, and an information
point, for holidaymakers and locals alike.
It is believed to be one of the largest single
investments on the Island, and construction
is set to be completed by December.
