The White Bay to Circular Quay charter ferry service operate on all days that cruise ships are scheduled to arrive and depart from White Bay Cruise Terminal to meet cruise passenger boarding and disembarking requirements.
According to Anthony Haworth, General Manager, Captain Cook Cruises, “we are delighted at the high volume of cruise passengers and staff using our White Bay Cruise Terminal ferry into the city and from the city to White Bay. This really was a long awaited and much needed ferry service and we are happy that it is a huge success during the first week of operations.”
“Our customer is our main priority and it quickly became clear to us that the majority of passengers using the White Bay Ferry service wanted to embark and disembark at Circular Quay, rather than Darling Harbour, so we have adjusted the routes and timetables accordingly.” Mr. Haworth said.
From mid-December the Captain Cook Cruises White Bay mobile wharf will be relocated closer to the White Bay Cruise terminal when port pedestrian facilities are completed.
