The big achievers of Australasian cruising have been named at the industry’s night of nights in Sydney
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia has announced the winners of the 18th annual Cruise Industry Awards at a gala event for more than 500 guests in Sydney.
A total of 20 awards have been handed out, with the gong for Large Cruise Agency of the Year in Australia going to Phil Hoffman Travel, while helloworld Milford & Browns Bay emerged victorious in the same category for a New Zealand agency.
Australia’s Cruise Consultant of the Year went to Gail Chapman of Dreamlines Australia and Small Cruise Agency of the Year was itravel Carlingford.
The Rising Star accolade was awarded to Peter Fotinis from Clean Cruising for Australia and Cruise Champion, Australasia, was Tim Faircloth from I Love Cruising.
My Cruises took home the award for Agency Promotion of the Year, Australia, and Bon Voyages Cruises & Travel won #CruiseCruise Promotion of the Year, Australasia.
Nicole Edgar from TravelManagers Australia nabbed the gong for Home Based/Mobile Agent of the Year, Australia and Online Cruise Agency of the Year, Australia, was Clean Cruising.
Crystal Cruises Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Australasia Karen Christensen was recognised for her contribution to the cruise industry be being inducted into the CLIA Hall of Fame.
